Company
Monarch Magnetics is a specialist geomagnetism company developing high-accuracy models, corrections, software, and observing capabilities for operations where magnetic-field accuracy matters.
Who we are
Monarch develops operational geomagnetic products that turn magnetic observations and field modeling into information customers can use. Our work spans global reference fields, regional crustal refinement, time-varying correction, uncertainty, validation, and observing systems.
That breadth matters because high-accuracy magnetic operations rarely depend on a single source of information. The field at a given place and time reflects contributions from Earth's core, crust, ionosphere, and magnetosphere, together with the quality and availability of the observations used to characterize them.
Arnaud Chulliat and Manoj C. Nair are experienced geomagnetic research scientists. They have led the development of HDGM for more than a decade and will continue its scientific development at Monarch. They have also led or contributed to the World Magnetic Model (WMM), IGRF, and related geomagnetic research, software, and products for government, research, and industrial users.
Their broader research work spans global and regional magnetic-field modeling, geomagnetic observations and observing systems, secular variation, magnetic mapping, electromagnetic induction, machine-learning applications in geomagnetism, and operational applications.

Why Monarch
High-accuracy magnetic operations depend on observations, models, uncertainty, software, and validation working together.
Use authoritative public data, customer data, or dedicated measurements when the requirement calls for them.
Represent the relevant global, regional, and time-varying contributions to the magnetic field at the needed resolution.
Quantify how uncertainty in observations and models propagates into the magnetic-field information used in operations.
Provide magnetic-field information through software, APIs, and other products that fit operational workflows.
